The SoundPool DeNoiser removes unwanted noise from audio recordings. It is quick and easy to operate by mouse. The Denoiser features a sample view window for selecting the noiseprint that determines the characteristics of the Noisefilter that De-Noiser computes Noise-Filtering works in real time, so you can directly process audio coming in from the S/PDIF, ADAT interface or the Falcon's AD converter.
The filtering process has two stages:
First a segement of the recording from which a noise print is to be taken is selected. Best suited for this purpose are segments where only the noise is to be heard, i.e. silence before the actual music.
The marked segments are then analyzed by the program. After the analysis, the program displays a detailed noise spectrum.
In the second stage, the level of the noise spectrum that is to subtracted from the recording is determined with the aid of a virtual fader with which you can experiment.
